I fought my step mom?
Well, she has been living in my dad's house for over three months, and she's really bitchy, she always talks **** about my mom, and pretends like she didn't do or say anything. My dad and my mom are still good friends, so he still has some pictures of her and me when I was younger. Well yesterday, we started arguing over her marrying my father, she tells me " I'll be a better wife then your stupid mom ever was" and I told her "***** please, your just another hag that wants my dad's money, plus he doesn't like bitches like you" and she tells me " But he like hoes like your mom, doesn't he" after she said, I got pissed off and told her to tell me that again, and instead she slaps me. When she did that I popped off. I started hitting her, punching, scratching her, so basically we were fighting because she was hitting back. and hard. 20 seconds into the "fight" I knocked her to the ground and got some good punches in her face, after that you see my dad come in, and run but not before he sees my step mom punch me in the face, after that he was trying to lift off but I kept on hitting, punching her one last time, causing her to start bleeding from her nose. I then ran up to my room, and grab some scissor, and tear that wedding gown up. I know this was bad, but I was really mad because no one ever talk about my mom. or hits me. She won't press charges (I'm 13) because she left me some body bruises, and she could actually go to jail for hitting me. I am still so mad that she starts calling my mom names. And I'm even madder that she hit me. I'm not your child, she didn't carry me for 9 months in her stomach to give birth to me, so she should even be touching me. I don't like it, and ever since she met my dad, me and him started drifting apart. I don't want her in my life, and that's gonna be a problem because I live part time with my dad. My mom knows about the incident, and she was about to flip out too. I told my dad, It's her or me. Either she leaves or you don't see me anymore. I'm tired of my step mom and I'm kinda glad I whooped her. But I love my dad, and I want to see him, but I don't want a women like that around him. Or around me. @Medical Student - She isn't my mother, she's not anything of mine. She's just another woman. Totally unrelated to me. I'm a girl (._.)

How do I find "p hat" in statistics?
In stats class today we learned about finding a test statistic (z) for percentage. I understand the problems completely when they actually give me the value for p hat. But when they don't give me p hat, I don't understand HOW I'm supposed to get the value for it. I'm going to type out a few problems & you don't have to do them all for me just a couple to tell me how to find p hat in them (if you don't mind to). I really need to know. I actually think the first has the p hat in it but I'm not sure. 1) In a Gallup survey, 1087 randomly selected adults were asked "Do you have occasion to use alcoholic beverages such as liquor, wine, or beer, or are you a total abstainer?" 62% of the subjects said that they used alcoholic beverages. Consider a hypothesis test that uses a 0.05 significance level to test the claim that a majority (more than 50%) of adults use alcoholic beverages. 2) Glamour magazine sponsored a survey of 2500 prospective brides and found that 60% of them spent less than $750 on their wedding gown. Use a 0.01 significance level to test the claim that less than 62% of brides spend less than $750 on their wedding gown. How are the results affected if it is learned the responses were obtained from the magazine readers who decided to respond to the survey through the internet web site? 3) One survey showed that among 785 randomly selected subjects who completed four years of college, 144 smoke and 641 do not smoke (based on data from the American Medical Association). Use a 0.01 significance level to test the claim that the rate of smoking among those with four years of college is less than the 27% rate for the general population. Why would college graduates smoke at a lower rate than others? Keep in mind that in these problems all I have to find is z, the null, & the alternative. But I mainly need to know how to find the p hat.

how much to charge to hem/alter a doctral gown?
Doctoral gown that needs to be hemmed and sleeves altered. I live in a small town, the dean of our university has asked me to look at it and fix it. I don't have any idea what to charge. I am the only one in this town that does this, the others stick to wedding gowns only. I have 20 years experience, sewing for myself and family.

Time travel romance novel? Help!?
O.K. so I read a book a couple of years ago and I really liked it but I can't remember the title or author for the life of me. Basically, this Scottish laird gets thrown through time and wakes up in a store that sells wedding gowns in New York, I think. Thinking he's dead and that the dresses are gowns angels wear he tries to put one on and then the female lead walks in and takes him home. That's the only real part of the book I remember clearly, I would be very thankful if someone could give me it's name. Please and Thanks!!
