Competitor complaining about website prices?
Hi everyone, my mum runs a bridal shop in the town centre. She has a website that allows her customers (new and existing) to log in and see all stock, all information, all prices, pay online etc. However, one of the suppliers has been receiving complaints from a competitor because her shop is cheaper than them and they want her to remove the prices completely. She's only charging the RRP and not deliberately selling at fire-sell rates. Is there anyway she can combat this decision? The customers love being able to look at the dresses and find ones in their budget and in truth I think she'd be more tempted to ditch the supplier than lose the uses of the website if that makes sense? Thanks everyone. Re: Scott The decision I suppose is what to do with the website - if she decides to continue then they may refuse to supply to her. Which would leave her with a load of £000,s of dresses which she wouldn't be able to order from anymore :( Just seems rediculous that a supplier will dictate stupid policies to limit sales?

She's a size six and I don't know how to react?!?
My friend is getting married and is normally a size six, for what ever reason the bridal shop wants to give her a size 8. Later we went shopping in hollister and she broke down in tears when she couldn't buy an xs. How the hell am I meant to react? She's not fat by anystandard I tried telling her these stores are just very small sizes to begin with I mean ima large or xl in hollister my self and her reaction is "you have no idea what it's to realize your fat,your used to it" how am I meant to react?

What would u do about this bridesmaid?
My wedding is in June, I picked out my bridesmaids dresses on January 2, 2012 and I asked all of my bridesmaids if they could have their dress deposits ($58) put down within the next 2-3 weeks. They all agreed. One girl lives an hour away so she said she would come into town the very next week Friday Jan 13th so that she and I could go together and she would put down her depoist and get fitted. So the next Wednesday rolls around and i texted her to see if i could change our appt at the bridal shop to an hour earlier and she said "hey girl idk if i can do it" so finally she says she needs more time. WHEN WAS SHE GOING TO TELL ME THAT...was she just gonna not show up to the appt...? I didnt press the subject because I dont wanna be pushy. So more time goes by and she never says anything about it so i never knew how much more time she needed. So my wedding planner calls her on February 2nd (a month later) and she says she will go get measured at a shop near her and call in her measurments on monday (yesterday 2/6) when i asked her about it she said "i spaced it, but ill def do it on Wednesday" if she does not do it by tomorrow I think I am going to let her know that I need sum 1 more reliable. all my other girls have put their deposit down and no dress will be ordered until everyones deposit is made so that they all come from the same dye lot. it takes 60 days for the dresses to come in which if we order now till be the end of april not to mention everyone needs alterations...What would u do? Im not trying to be a spoiled brat or anything I just feel like she is giving me the run around and I would like sum 1 more reliable. Also when she said she needed more time I asked if she was sure she could afford to be in the wedding and she assured me that she could do it and she really wanted to... Ok so to add insult to injury she keeps posting about having girls nights. If u can go out and get drunk then u can get this done. Priorities. And also whether I text or call her she was supposed to have this done. I'm nobodies mom and I don't want to b a bridezilla so I try to back off so I'm not being mean but this has gone on long enough.

Name for a bridal shop?
I am trying to come up with a name for my bridal shop. It will be selling decor items/accessories that are made from renewable resources such as burlap/jute, up-cycle items, mason jars, barn wood, ect. I will have a rustic chic theme to the items. Any Ideas? I have tossed around: Heartland Bride, The Burlap Veil, Burlap Bridal....I've tried asking this in the Small Business forum but to be honest they have no creativity and have no idea.
