Can I wear black to a summer wedding?
My stepson is having a summer wedding. The wedding colors are black white and red. I have been raised that you don't wear black to a summer wedding, but I will be sitting at the bridal/parents table where most will be in black and white. I am having sooo much trouble trying to figure out what to buy to wear. I don't want to wear white & take away from the bride. I don't know what to do ... I don't know who would have a dark colored wedding in the summer anyway, it's just tacky to me. Maybe I am just old skool, lol. I definitely don't want to wear all black but I thought about a bright floral top pant set w/ black pants? I don't know ... What are some of your thoughts? Although I am not the parent but I will be at the parents table should I be in formal wear? Ugh!!! I hate all this wedding crap, lol

wishing well centerpieces?
ok my wedding is june 10th and I still do not know what my centerpieces r. We r having wedding outside at a lake and reception in the main pavillion. I am leaning towards wishing wells made out of wood painted white and glue red roses and vinery then on both sides doing red apples with slots in them where ill put love poems on card stock. r theme is apple of my eye, and colors r red and white. i want it to be nice but not look cheap. also can give guest pencils with little tag with our info on it so they can write cute advice or memory about us and put into wishing well. does this sound like it would look ok? i have asked my bridal party and they liked it, but unfortunatly they have agreed to everything, so i dont know if they r just being nice. plez give any advice!!!! thank you
