How does a bridal gown fitting appointment at a bridal boutique work?
I'm setting up an appointment at a local bridal gown boutique, but I am not sure how the appointment is going to work. Should I bring anything? Should I be prepared to buy a dress from this store on the day of the appointment? Should I wear a certain kind of underwear? And I have no idea what kind of dress would look good on me I'm flying blind, is this going to be a complete failure because I don't know what I want? Just tell me how everything is supposed to go from start to finish.

Which is a more a difficult job?
I am having this debate with my mother about which is a more difficult occupation. My mother owns her own bridal boutique and she believes that owning a business is much more difficult than being a brain surgeon. She also believes that it is common sense that owning a bridal boutique is harder than being a brain surgeon. Really? I actually believe the opposite. The fact of the matter is you need at least 8 years of college to become a brain surgeon. My mom owns a bridal boutique with only 1 year of college under her belt [not even for business management]. My mother argues that there is alot more organization and things you have to deal when you own a business and you have no help when the business you are running is a small one. So I want your opinions: Is it really common sense that owning a small business is harder than being a brain surgeon? OR Is being a brain surgeon more difficult than owning a business

Wedding and getting married! It's like really bad. I'm seventeen years old and I've never had a boyfriend or been kissed because I don't believe in dating someone just to say you've had a boyfriend. I think dating should involve someone you want to be with for a very long time - if not forever! I am literally obsessed with weddings. I am constantly looking at dresses and venues and cakes and watching wedding shows. It's ridiculous. I want to go to school to be an event planner but whenever I even start to think about weddings my chest hurts cuz I love weddings so much. Like no joke, all the majors I'm looking at going into have something to do with weddings (fashion merchandising because I'd have my own bridal boutique or hospitality because most schools have an event planning class, and a minor in either business so I can start my own even planning company/bridal boutique or interior design so I have some background in design). I feel like I need to be at a wedding or do something involving a wedding 24/7. My cousin just got engaged and I am secretly dying inside over having wedding in the family for the first time in six years. It's really sickening hahah. But what can I do to help out my situation?! And is this really abnormal for me to be so crazy over this stuff?

can you return a bridesmaid dress ?
i am a bridesmaid for a wedding in two weeks. the dress i had bought does not fit me anymore as i have put on a few pounds. it cost 300 euro and much to my dismay i have had to buy another dress (that does fit ) i went to the bridal boutique in which i bought it and they were very ignorant and would not take it back . they know the wedding date and the dress is even still in the plastic it came in ! am i entitled to a refund ?? we only picked it up about a month ago . where is the best place to sell the dress ? also what is an acceptable price to sell it for ?
